A personal piece that represents the blooming of my heart! A full rose and bud represents the two greatest teachers of my life- my son, and a beloved. The human condition is a divine gift, and I am eternally grateful for the roots that expanded the depth of my unconditional love for others. I wanted to play with the contrast of red and black ink, and this inspiration felt very fitting. Prints are also available for this piece.
9 × 12 - Black and Red Ink on Strathmore Recycled Paper.
