Inspired by the Beloved, the lotus represents deep beauty and bloom from muddy waters. I believe our Heart is the compass, the intuitive, and the map of the souL. This piece is unique and personal… I wanted deep saturation of color infused with thatching and line work. With her roots deeply intertwined with the beating heart, divine growth and protection are at the core of this piece.
9 × 12 - Black Ink, Sharpie Marker, on Strathmore Marker Paper.
