PRINT of Day 1, 2026 - Prompt word ‘apple’
I didn’t deep head dive on this one- any excuse to draw an apple bud, to blossom, to fruit! The smell of an apple orchard in full bloom is one to cherish for all of time. Did you know that there are 7,500 known apple varieties worldwide?! That means only a handful in comparison is what we see at the grocery store…. bring the variety BaCk!
Note: The Inktober Challenge is what brought black ink & thatching into my life! I have no formal training or education in ink art, I just love to do it. My practice in this medium grows with each piece I make, and I am so grateful for Mother Nature being my muse for most of the prompts each year!
